Single items and larger furniture moves
A furniture move can involve one bulky item or a complete room. Give us a list of the pieces, their approximate dimensions and photographs where possible. Tell us about glass panels, delicate finishes or unusually heavy items. Specialist items need to be assessed in advance so we can confirm whether the job is suitable.
Check that furniture will fit
Measure doorways, hallways, stair turns and lift openings at both properties. A piece that fits in a room may not pass through the exit fully assembled. Let us know if a bed, table or wardrobe needs dismantling and reassembly; agree this work before the moving date.
Prepare your furniture
Empty cupboards and drawers, secure loose components and keep screws and fittings labelled. Use appropriate protection for fragile surfaces. If you need packing help or a gap between collection and delivery, ask about our packing and storage service. Arrange parking close to the entrance and keep the carrying route clear.
